Just wanted to give you all a little HeAdS UP. We’re about 75% finished with writing for my second record. I know I sound repetitive, but I just can’t tell you how excited I am to share my new material. I wish there was a way to just post a clip of each song I write, so you guys would have an idea as to what I’m doing. Due to so many legal issues, we just can’t. I also wanted to give Nat & Joy a big thanks for running the Official Kaci Brown Street Team, and remind you all about their first contest. With many months of hard work behind us, I'm welcoming the year 2007-

New Music- New Experiences- New Friends- a New Kaci.

With every moment passed, there’s a new one passing.

2006, I can honestly say, was one of the best years of my life.

With this door closed, there’s a new one open. I’m keen on walking!!!

As you all know, I’ve been in the studio for several months now. Between writing, recording, and traveling to write/record more, and experiment with new styles, my schedule’s left very little time for certain “normal” things in life, but I’ve definitely learned more about, and found a deeper love for those I’m surrounded by. I thank you for your patience! NEW listening material coming soon!!

We all go through breakups and breakdowns. Some of us recover by seeing someone else, and some of us just write about it. In my case, I’ve done both. In all reality, this album will have a heck of a lot more depth – its soulful and earthy but of course always still fun!

Actually, in all truth, I myself am a deeper person. We all grow, make mistakes, and grow because of our mistakes. Every time our hearts break, we leave little pieces of ourselves scattered, but I have no doubt that in time, the pain of it all will slowly fade. Like I’ve said before, music is my therapy. There’s nothing that we can’t get through, and/or experience a second time around, with music.

If I’ve learned anything recently, it’s to keep an open mind.

I’ve seen plans come to pass, seemingly as intended, but not exact, - that allows for surprises – good and bad. You can plan only so much! This record, untitled as of now, has the potential of shaping in to something vivid, distinct, and ageless, but I need your help.

I have another two months or so to really keep building this record and hone my craft (which is a lifetime journey too!x).
